Legally the contractor is paid in the CAE Commission

Now more than two years ago, the autoentrepreneur plan was born. Since then, the numbers and the arguments in its favour are constantly rain. 598.000 entrepreneurs would have opted for this formula, which would have generated a total turnover of 2 billion by 2010. It cannot be denied that the creation of this scheme was able to simplify and popularize the creation of enterprises in our country. But behind the advertisements lies a reality requires us to relative success and to realize that this regime is not the miracle cure for shyness of our entrepreneurial spirit.

Without being the panacea for unemployment - it is partly as it was presented by the Government - it often rhymes with insecurity. Say for example that only 40 of the self that have created their own activity can actually live in their business revenues. The viability of micro-enterprises created two years ago also remains to prove. According to Acoss (Central Agency for social security bodies), good balance is indeed more questionable: only 282.000 autoentrepreneurs reported a positive turnover, a proportion that is still directed downward between the second and the third quarter of 2010: 178.000 autoentreprises have generated a positive turnover over the period July-September 2010, against 208.000 in the previous quarter.

Finish in the ostrich policy. If the regime put in place by Hervé Novelli actually gave rise to vocations, it leaves the new contractor incredibly alone faced the many challenges of entrepreneurship: administrative procedures, management of outstanding and unpaid, business development, etc. Everyone can create his activity of course, but make it viable, sustainable and profitable is not innate.

It is she who invoice the sales of the "salaried entrepreneurs", cash their regulations and has a legal responsibility. The activity of entrepreneurs is therefore hosted fiscally and the cooperative, which carries out all administrative and financial presentation way approaches legally. But economically, it is the contractor who is autonomous and responsible for its activity.

It will be understood, by joining a CAE, the contractor is not only faced with adversity. It becomes part of a collective enterprise of which it may acquire shares. Result: the failure rate is two times lower than in conventional business and is found 54 of women entrepreneurs when they are only 28 to create businesses in France.

We hear, no doubt business and employment co-operatives may not allow all creative activity, but they provide many answers to the problems posed by the regime of the autoentrepreneur. The CAE also are a sign that entrepreneurs and new companies are born and develop throughout our territory. These entrepreneurs build the economy of tomorrow by rhyme economic viability and collective project, participatory governance and social innovation.
