In what I think will be one of the best bowl games of the season, the Sooners will try to match up with the surging Stanford Cardinal in the Brut Sun Bowl in El Paso on New Year's Eve.A talented Stanford offense meets an talented Oklahoma defense.A sporadic Sooner offense will try to get going early against a similarly unpredictable Cardinal defense.It is the second of these two equations, I believe, that will have the bigger impact on the game.Stanford will score some points, but Oklahoma will make some stops, too.It will be up to Landry Jones and company to keep the Sooners in a position to win.Unfortunately, I don't like Jones' chances.I don't think he'll be at his best on the big stage as a freshman, and Gerald McCoy, Jeremy Beal, Travis Lewis, and Dominique Franks can't do it all themselves.Sorry, Bob Stoops.I'm planning on another bowl loss for you, 27-21..
