Canadian superstars never fail to impress

After some growing up and reevaluating my previously beliefs I've come to terms that not only one side is responsible for a crime that more than one person had their hands in.Though it has nothing to do with me or my life, nor HHH's, I want to apologize for continually knocking him. Sure, he's this or that, but I don't believe he's generally a terrible guy that would ruin someone else's career just so he could sustain his own. Finally, I want to conclude this in various random rants to the many marks that constantly force the idea that their favorite superstar should be this or that. 1. Randy OrtonI have to admit, Randy, along with Edge, is the sole reason of why I got back into WWE programming back in 2005. Of course, he isn't why I stayed tuned in, being the major Edge/Lita mark that I once was.For those who nag that Randy needs to be champ again, I say this: RANDY IS A BORING CHAMPION.As a face, he doesn't exhibit any charisma or entertaining persona The same DOES not apply to his heel character obviously. I was bombarded with happiness when he won the title back in...I don't know 08, but after he got the belt he sucked big time.Where did all that momentum leading up to the reign go Out of the door. He's best being the major heel threat that is a possible contender at taking the title away, but never succeeding...at least not all the time. 2.

Shelton BenjaminEvery time I see Shelton perform, I sit mesmerized by his athletic prowess and his limitless potential. Benjamin is a shining example to all who believe wrestling is dead; showing all that it is alive.Granted, its not well. However, Shelton lacks the star power that others possess, which prevents him from rising to the top. MarysePlays the perfect heel character since Trish's heel run. Decent in-ring skills, and awesome mic skills...Canadian superstars never fail to impress. 5.

BatistaAs a pure animalistic brute, who happens to be virtually unstoppable, he's great. Sadly, the days of "Evolution" are over.Playing a Kanye West-type character months after the issue subsided does nothing for your persona. 6. Then again, a majority of the audience could care less, right 7 John CenaYou knew it was coming. Why do we call them "superstars" anywayIn any case, him dropping the title to Sheamus does not discredit him in any way, considering that it WAS a tables match and he wasn't pinned or forced to tap out. What is Cena's kryptonite Not that I would use it against him.I don't want to further spoil my article with ludicrous writing and please these are all JUST my opinions, that I am entitled to after all Your opinions would be very much appreciated Thank you for reading..

The Cubs finally moved Milton Bradley. All they had to do was take Carlos Silva, and possibly the worst contract in baseball, off the Mariners’ hands.Since signing his 4-year $48 million dollar contract (and a lot of us thought it was an awful deal the moment it was announced), Carlos has had two seasons stupendous in their ineptitude. In 2008, Silva went 4-15 with 6.46 ERA. In 2009, Carlos missed the better part of the season with a shoulder injury, but still managed to hang on long enough to post an 8.60 ERA in eight appearances, including six starts. By comparison, the Giants have gotten Cy Young performances from Barry Zito for their $18 million per.Depending on who you listen to, Silva has either $24 million or $25 million coming to him in 2010 and 2011. Miltie has $21 million coming to him. The Mariners threw $6 million into the deal, which was obviously just enough sugar to enable the Cubbies to swallow a bitter, bitter pill. After all the invective above, Silva could be an effective pitcher for the Cubs in 2010 and 2011. At least it’s within the realm of possibility, so long as his arm is right again.Silva is an extreme control pitcher, and Wrigley isn’t a terrible park for control pitchers. If Silva is healthy and can keep his ERA right around 5.00, he could be a useful fourth or fifth starter for the Cubs the next two seasons. Granted, that’s a big if.Meanwhile, the Mariners get Miltie and all that he brings to the table. I can see what the Mariners are thinking. They realize they don’t play in a market big enough to compete with the Angels in terms of spending to acquire talent. They have made big lay-outs to sign Chone Figgins and to acquire Cliff Lee (for one year only), so they are thinking about going balls-out to win in 2010.Miltie gives them a potentially big bat for a small price (at least if you consider the $25 million going to Silva the next two seasons as money already pissed down a rat-hole). They will attempt to live with the head-aches Miltie inevitably causes in the hopes that he’ll have one more big year. The Mariners decided to bring Junior Griffey back for one more year in large part because they appreciated what he did for their clubhouse in 2009. This will be the real test for the Ken Griffey, Jr. legend. If he can keep Miltie in line (and Miltie’s healthy enough to help the M’s with his bat again, always a big if), the Mariners could make a real run in 2010.All that being said, I still wouldn’t want Miltie on my team. He’s a cancer, pure and simple, and thinking he will behave (or is even capable of behaving) himself for two years in a row is a fool’s bet.The Mariners are taking what they see as a calculated risk, and it’s a risk, no doubt about it. This article is also featured on 48. Will they finish the season in the top 25 No!In case you don't think Sagarin has them in the right spot, you should know something about the conference they play inthe Colonial Athletic Association. The CAA is the best conference year in and year out, of all the FCS conferences. Last year Richmond, another CAA team, won the championship. Delaware, James Madison, and New Hampshire are some other teamsyou might recognize the names. The CAA isn't just the best conference in the FCS, they give FBS teams trouble too. This season Richmond beat Duke, William & Mary beat Virginia, and James Madison lost to Maryland in overtime. Duke, Virginia, and Maryland all play in the ACC.The CAA had other wins over FBS schools; Villanova beat bowl bound Temple and New Hampshire beat Ball St.So where does the Andy Talley coached team go from here Is there an FBS conference they could be part of in the near future What about the conference they're located in the middle of, the Big East And how convenient for the Big EastVillanova's basketball program is already a member! The Wildcats could eventually end up in the Big East if they can assure the doubters that they are committed to making the step up.They have the exposure through their nationally ranked basketball team. They have a beautiful stadium in Philadelphia to play their games in, and if the alumni push it, who knowsIf the Alumni decides they want to raise the money needed, Villanova could be a real good choice for the Big East, who is seriously studying the chances of adding a ninth team. Penn State, Temple, and Rutgers are probably wondering how such a move would affect their programs. They all will be recruiting the same area.. The Montana Grizzlies entered the Division I-AA Football Championship a perfect 14-0 on the season, winning each regular-season game in convincing fashion. They defeated the three-time national champions from Appalachian State in the semifinals on their way into the championship game.Although they made the title game, their first round match-up with South Dakota State was not so easy.Finding themselves down 48-21 late in the third quarter versus the Jackrabbits of SDSU, the Grizzlies seemingly had little thought that they had any chance of advancing in the playoffs, much less the championship game. But once Marc Mariani's 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown cut the lead to 48-27, the Grizzlies found their potent offense that had led them to an undefeated regular season. After Andrew Selle connected with Marc Mariani for two touchdown passes and Chase Reynolds rushed for a pair of one-yard touchdown runs, Montana had earned a 55-48 edge in the game that would eventually end in a 61-48 victory for the Grizzlies.
